As a boss, can other people ride on my behalf?
Yes. You are permitted to allocate kilometres to members of your team. However, for each team member riding on your behalf you must have a $500 donation attributed to your page.
Where can I ride?
You can ride anywhere you like (subject to the current public health orders and restrictions set by NSW Health). On the road, on the track, or at home – all the rides you track throughout September count towards your challenge.
Do I have to ride 500kms?
Ride500 is all about pushing yourself to your limits. The more you challenge yourself, the more your mates will get behind you.

I’m not a serious cyclist. Can I take part?
Yes! We encourage cyclists of all levels to take on the Ride500 challenge. There are different challenge options to suit each level – go on, you can do it!

- If you haven’t already download the Strava or Fitbit app.
- Login to your Ride500 dashboard and select the ‘My Fitness Activity’ tab.
- Under the heading ‘Connect to your preferred app’, click your chosen app.
- Follow the prompts to connect your app.

Why take on the challenge?
Every year in NSW, almost 51,000 people are diagnosed with cancer, with 1 in 2 of us expected to have cancer in our lifetime. You can help change this by pushing the limits on your bike for the biggest push of all: to end cancer. 💙
We need champions like you to fundraise so we can provide life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and support services (like our free Transport to Treatment program) for people affected by cancer
And, as 1 in 3 cancers are preventable through leading a healthy lifestyle, you’ll be reducing your own cancer risk by getting active for Ride500. How great is that?
So let's get out there, get active and support your boss in raising funds to end cancer!
